Summer Day Camp Volunteer

Volunteer Description:

Summer Day Camp Volunteers work hands-on with children to deliver quality youth programming during the summer months. Summer Day Camp Volunteers will work with Summer Day Camp Staff in conducting activities such as service learning projects, arts & crafts, sports & games, cultural diversity, teambuilding, environmental discovery, drama, journal writing, self-reliance lessons and field trips.

Qualifications:

• Positive experience in working with children in an educational or recreational setting.
• Ability to organize and carry out program activities
• Understanding of and appreciation for uniqueness of children.

Requirements:

• Participate in volunteer orientation
• Minimum 18 years of age
• Reliable transportation

Term/Time Commitment:

Average 8 - 32 hours per month during the summer months
